David started his career in Information Technology in 2006, working his way up to ultimately become a Principal Engineer with a focus on data center infrastructure, virtualization, and automation. During this time, his technical hobbies included deep learning, machine learning, and generative AI. 

He started his YouTube channel after getting access to GPT-3 in 2021 and transitioned to full-time AI consulting in 2023. His work has focused on AI alignment, cognitive architecture, and philosophy. 

Presently David's focus is on the future prosperity of humanity by way of teaching and writing. He is working on several books and projects, in addition to his YouTube content.
